Bio
- Name: Jerry Ingram
- Age: 91yrs.
- Service Period: WWII
- Branch: US Marines
- Introduction:
"No greater honor than to serve God, Country, and the Corps. And I've been blessed to do all three of them...and to represent those that aren't here."
– Jerry Ingram
He was 15 years old when he joined the Marine Corps. By age 16, a tank commander in combat. He survived 4 of the most brutal battles of WWII's Pacific theater, then the famous Las Vegas Hilton fire in 1981 where he suffered burns. Jerry Ingram's response to these brushes with death? Gratitude, and a sense of mission. It's a safe bet you'll not meet a more positive, thankful, and by his own description, blessed individual than Jerry. And he keeps sharply in focus the mission of representing those who did not make it back, the cost of freedom, and the blessings God has afforded all of us.
This is: "Ingram, a service story".
