So many lessons can be learned, if we are willing, from our past. Taking a look at our history, as WWII veteran Joe Dwigans reminds us, informs us of the foundation - the backbone if you will - the United States was built upon. The people, and what they valued. Out of this quality, came a willingness to serve others, the importance of duty, the understanding of what was worth fighting for. How blessed are we to still have living examples of this quality of people - this Greatest Generation - to remind us what we once were, and why honor and service to Country were important then, and still are.
This is: "Dwigans, a service story".
