- Introduction:
"So, 36 men are going to be buried, one after the other. And each time taps would be played." – Malcolm Eudaley
One of the most horrific actions of WWII, and there were many, was the Kamikaze attacks by Japanese aircraft in the Pacific. Navy Veteran Malcolm Eudaley survived one of those attacks, but 36 of his fellow crewmen did not. In yet another testament to the character, perseverance, and will of the WWII generation, Malcolm not only survived the attack, but went on to share his life in service to others. Just one more example of why we refer to them as "the Greatest Generation".
This is: "Eudaley, a service story".
