Understanding where we came from, and what makes today possible, is indispensable in knowing where we are going, and why we want to go there. Not to mention indispensable to a life filled with gratitude. Ray says this so well. He, and all who sacrificed in WWII - and America's other wars for freedom - deserve our undying gratitude for the freedom we enjoy today. And, for the freedom they provided countless others around the world. Serving from 1943-46 with Patton's 3rd Army and the 9th Army, fighting in the Rhineland campaign, and throughout the battle of Germany, Ray witnessed everything from German flying rockets attacking England, to German soldiers surrendering en masse. Another remarkable story.
This is: "Geldhof, a service story".
