World War Two...from the battle babies of the 99th Infantry Division, to the boys serving in the Pacific, to those serving at home - all shared one thing in common...love of country. What a marked difference from the arrogant and racial pride of our enemies in WWII. One side loved themselves above the rest of humanity, the other side loved the melting pot of humanity that made them who they were. America could not have triumphed in WWII if those serving didn't love their country...and the freedom it stood for. WWII veteran Tom Lacey said it best..."This is a great country. There's no country like it...there isn't. I love it."
This is: "Lacey, a service story".
